I so look forward to worship on Sundays. Today I found myself just sitting dwelling on my week and got overwhelmed by the thought of worship with the saints and how sweet it is. It is not like our lives should not be continous worship but the sound of all the saints singing together it is so powerful. I can only imagine what heaven will be like when we are all there together. For now it is sweet but heaven has to be powerful worship.

Inspite of our unfaithfulness God is always faithful. He never moves. When our lives feel like the world is closing in on us He is always faithful. As we go out every day and go thru the motions of life He is faithful. When we hear that dreaded word Cancer He is still faitful. Thank You God for being faithful

I sat the other day at work listening to people talking about all the Easter preparations that they were involved in. I sat amazed as how Christ was not even mentioned in their concept of Easter. As I listened it became extremely apparent how my life is so different than those around me with regards as to what is important. It is more important than ever to share the Gospel with those around us. To even think that someone I know would not be spending eternity in Heaven is an overwhelming feeling of sadness.

There are times I just do not get it. Why would people make fun of someone with Parkinson’s? We recently were confronted with gossip about Henry having Parkinson’s and how they did not like him around because of his Parkinson’s Disease. We were stunned and hurt and just speechless when we heard it. They did not like him around apparently because they could not understand him at times. Because the Parkinson medicine affects his voice. In Henry’s case it is walk or talk. And he has to be able to move. People do not make sense. I have to wonder how they would feel if they had a disability and people said they did not like them because of it.

So the big question is Where God’s Word is clear do we have the option of choosing what we want to obey or not? This applies to the church but some in the church choose to ignore this. Why do some in the church feel they can pick and choose what parts of God’s Word they want to follow and what are just inconveniences to our lives and ignore.??
People have made the church to be what they want it to be and not what God wants it to be. Church has become a place of conveniences a country club type of atmosphere to apease the masses. We now have churches full of people that do not read their bibles, churches where the only bible in the place is the pastors maybe if he uses one. You have churches where the sermons are boxed and the pastors repeat the same sermons year after year. Pastors can not even answer questions anymore they have to tell people to read a book to explain the questions because if it is not boxed they don’t know the answers. What has happened to the church people God’s Word makes it totally clear how to live why does the church in America miss this? You have pastors that believe that bible study is listening to videos instead of picking up God’s Word and chewing thru it.

Have you ever just lost total respect for someone?? Recently we had to step back and re-consider our friendship with a certain person. It was a tough decision but there comes a time when we need to step back and say we do not approve of the sin you are in and allowing. The person clearly got a major attitude and was not willing to correct the sin so we had no other choice but to step back and remove ourselves from being around this person. Even though our friend claims to be a christian he is not willing to correct his sin. Sometimes people get so comfortable in their sin that it becomes so naturally a part of their lives. Pride keeps people from dealing with sin. We have totally lost respect for this person due to his attitude regarding the sin.

This week I have sat back and just took a break from the world every day if only for a brief moment to just dwell on what God was doing in my life and the lives of those I love. And all I can say is WOW!!! God’s Love is so Amazing!!! I am truly blessed and loved by the one that created the Universe WOW does it get any better than that?

Right is Right Wrong is Wrong and Sin is Sin. There is no gray area when it comes to sin. So there comes a time when we realize that we have overlooked sin because of friendships or convenience. It is during that time we realize that we need to step back and re group and ask ourselves is this relationship with others honoring God or just for convenience sake. Do we fellowship and ignore sin because of loyalty others have towards us? If people are not wanting to correct the sin and are choosing to ignore God’s Word then that just does not leave much room. That is when one needs to make a decision. Some people will ignore sin as long as the person is loyal to them. My question would be is it worth to ignore sin for loyalty? For a lot of people that is yes. For us No! Being loyal to God is more important that friendships. How about you????

This morning consisted of Awesome Worship and a excellent thought provoking message to chew on this week. I don’t know about you but I know God uses people (aka Pastors, Teachers) to get my attention to something in His Word usually something I need to work on or to take serious notice to what I need to meditate on. This morning message was one that helped me get a better grip on something I kinda knew but really needed to understand a little better. To me that makes my Sunday awesome. I have heard over the years people complaining about they get nothing out of worship and the pastors message. To that I would say what did you put into worship?????—- do you really grasp what worship is???— did really listen to the message??? God speaks to us thru His word and our worship should be a sweet savory offering to our God. Is your singing directed as worship to God? He deserves worship that is sincere not worship that is just done to get it over and move on to the next agenda. Worship should not be taken lightly but for me it should come from down deep because I know that I am nothing with out God. Nothing this world compares to God’s Love for me.
