It is sad that some have used the church as a business or they are only in the church because it means a pay check. There are plenty out there that simply preach on Sunday and collect a check but in their hearts they do not even know God. Church has become a business. People have made the Gospel of Christ a business. And it has become a big business. Pastors have become more worried about their income than their relationship with Jesus Christ. God has been put on the back burner in the name of building the big church.

Life gets so busy at times we moved to Knoxville and settling in took some time. We have been busy with our lives working and we have even managed to spend time in the mountains more now than ever taking pictures. We have realized how much more time we have to enjoy life now that we have moved in to Knoxville.
For a while in Oak Ridge we opened our home in the morning for prayer meeting. We fully believe in prayer but we realized that the man that was coming to our home for this was actually evil and using it as a means of destruction and control of people. Prayer is a great means to communicate with God but there are people that use corporate prayer as a means of being destructive. We are too watch and pray and stay in the Word of God and when we do God shows us evil for what it is.

We are finally out of Oak Ridge TN and totally relieved to be away from there. God has been totally amazing with His provisions.

WOW where has time gone?? I have been so busy this summer and just realized here it is end of August and I have shamefully not posted for quite a while. I have sat here knowing my priorities have changed this summer and I have spent time helping mom since here move here to East Tennessee and the demands of life that just happens everyday has not left me time to even blog.
This has been an amazing summer and I look forward to fall and the beauty that comes to East Tennessee during the fall. I think about how things in their dieing bring so much beauty. God paints such a beautiful picture for us to enjoy every season.

It is so awesome to have finally found a church in Tennessee where the Word of God is Preached and one where people actually study the bible. It is so discouraging that people do not understand the importance of bible study. We have been in Tennessee for a few years and have struggled with people not interested in God’s Word.

I so look forward to worship on Sundays. Today I found myself just sitting dwelling on my week and got overwhelmed by the thought of worship with the saints and how sweet it is. It is not like our lives should not be continous worship but the sound of all the saints singing together it is so powerful. I can only imagine what heaven will be like when we are all there together. For now it is sweet but heaven has to be powerful worship.
